What are the shipping methods?

We use USPS which is the US Postal Service (the Post Office). If you are an international customer, the parfcel is handed to your countries Post Office service. I recommend using this website as it automatically traces the route of the parcel through your countries own tracking service: parcelsapp.com/en/tracking/

We ship via USPS First Class, Priority & Express. All our shipping options have tracking and Priority/Express options are insured against loss. First Class does not include any insurance against loss, damage, or theft. Full insurance details can be found here.

Beware using First Class International. This option is at your own risk due to the unreliability of some countries' Post Office systems. If you select international first class and the package is lost by a non-usa postal service, it will not be eilligible for a refund (we offer full refunds if the parcel is lost by the Post Office within USA borders). International Priority and Express options are fully insured so if the parcel is lost you will be reimbursed after it has been confirmed lost for a minimum of 30 days. (Update: this has been revised to 60 days during the COVID crisis).

When does my order ship?

We endeavor to pack and ship most orders same day (Mon-Fri before 3pm EST). However sometimes we require a little extra time to process the order. Variables include, but not limited to, the payment status of the customer, the billing and shipping information validity, security checks and the availability of the ordered item(s). Any free shipping methods may require up to 3 business days to process, but we work hard to try and ship all orders within 1 business day. If the item you ordered is on backorder or pre-order, the order will not ship until the item is in stock and available. Check the News Page for shipping updates.

How long does it take to ship my order?

CronusMAX.com processes and ships out packages Monday-Friday 9am-4pm EST; we are not open to process or deliver any packages during the weekend or major holidays.

  • USPS First Class (USA) - 3 to 7 Days*
  • USPS First Class (International) - 2 to 4+ Weeks*
  • USPS Priority (USA) - 1 to 3 Days*
  • USPS Priority (International) - 10 to 21 Days*
  • USPS Express (USA) - 1 to 2 Days*

Do not consider the day an order is placed as day one. Begin counting from the next business day to get an accurate expectation of delivery time). Pre Order shipping times start from the day the item is avaialble and in stock, so always check when a pre order item is going to be available. We are not responsible for shipment delays that may occur during the COVID-19 crisis. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead when placing orders online.

*Please note that shipping times are given as a guide and are in no way guaranteed. Shipping times are based on working days only and do not include weekends or major holidays. Once the package has left our warehouse then it is in the hands of USPS and they alone are responsible for getting your package to you as fast as possible. International customers should add 10 days+ to the expected arrival time due to the COVID-19 crisis. 

Please also note that First Class International Shipping can be quite slow depending on your country. Sometimes it can get there within a couple of weeks, sometimes longer than 4 weeks. If you are not prepared to risk waiting a long time, we recommend you use the priority option.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping cost depends on the options you choose, the size and weight of your item(s), and the location of the order destination. To estimate shipping costs, simply place all the desired item(s) in your shopping cart and then proceed to checkout. Once you are on the shopping cart page, under Shipping Options, you can select the desired shipping option and the associated estimated cost will be displayed. You do not have to sign up for an account or make any purchase to view the shipping costs.

Do you ship to my country?

We do ship to most countries in the world except for a small handful due to customs/security regulations.

You can check if your country is available by asking for an estimated shipping cost when you add a product to the cart.

How do I track my order?

A tracking number will be provided via email once an order has been shipped out. You can also  login to your account and browse your order history to view the tracking number. If there is no tracking number then the item has not shipped yet (click here for Order Status info). After receiving the tracking number, you can click on the link provided in the email. Alternatively, you can also track your USPS packages by going to USPS.com or by contacting USPS at 1-800-222-1811. Please allow at least 24 hours for USPS to update their system before tracking your order.

Tracking international orders (Outside USA)

The majority of our international parcels arrive within 7-21 days so please be patient if it is delayed, especially during holidays such as Christmas (delays in shipping are always from the beginning of December, so if you require items before Christmas make sure you order giving plenty of time for delivery).  We highly recommend you use the international tracking system - www.track-trace.com/post


If your tracking shows this notice: "Your item was processed through our ISC CHICAGO IL (USPS) facility on Month Day, Year at Time. The item is currently in transit to the destination." Then it has left the country and has been handed to your countries local customs and import service where it will be processed and passed to your local post office. 

Many countries in the EU offer further tracking information however most countries outside the EU will only show proof that it has been shipped and proof of delivery.

Click the image to see what tracking looks like. This example shows a parcel leaving our premises in Charlottesville, VA and being delivered to a customer in the UK 6 days later using the USPS Priority International Service (which usually costs between $19.95 - $29.95 depending on your location)

Note: For international shipments, sometimes the tracking may not change for a several days. This is down to your countries customs or post office service and entirely normal. Just be a little patient :)

Can I change the shipping address?

Yes you can change the shipping address, as long as the order has not yet been packed. Visit the Cronus Support Center to request an address change. It must be in the same country and shipping method as on the original order. If the order has been packed with a shipping label printed and tracking number issued, we will try to change the address but can't guarantee we will be able to recover the parcel from the Post Office. You would have to retrieve the parcel from the address originally provided with your order, or arrange to have it returned to us so we could then forward it to an alternative shipping address.

Changing the address in your Address Book does not change the address on an order that has already been placed. Cronus cannot be held responsibile for the recovery or rerouting of lost packages sent to improperly provided shipping addresses. 

Can I modify my order during shipment?

Once an order has been packed and shipped, we're unable to modify any orders. We also cannot re-route or modify any packages once the order has been shipped out. If you no longer want your order, you can return it for a refund. For further details on refunds, please visit our Return Policy page.

What about import taxes?

You may be subject to import duties and taxes/vat, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by you as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. All paperwork is filed automatically by our shipping software software and includes the full value of the products as shown on the website and does not include any discounts or coupons. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from cronusmax.com, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. if you refuse to pay import taxes the goods will be returned to us and you will be refunded for the items as soon as they arrived minus any postage and packing costs. Please do not ask us to falsify paperwork so you pay fewer taxes. 

What happens if my package is damaged?

If you receive a damaged package, you must contact us within 24 hours. If it is over that time we will be unable to submit an insurance claim to the Post Office.

What happens if my package is lost?

USPS rules state that a package is not considered lost until it has been in transit for at least 30 days (Update: this has been revised to 60 days during the COVID crisis). If there has been no movement with your tracking for that period of time, contact us immediately so we can file a claim and process your warranty to make sure you get a replacement shipped at our expense. This does not apply to First Class shipping service which includes no insurance for loss, damage or theft.

What happens if my shipment is missing items?

If the package is simply missing items, you must contact us at the Cronus Support Center within 24 hours.

What happens if the post office says my package is delivered but it's not there?

You need to call the Post Office immediately to find out where the parcel was dropped off - most delivery agents have GPS locators when they scan the parcel so a record can be retrieved. You will either discover that it was dropped off at the wrong address or wrong mailbox, that it was not delivered at all (must wait 30 days before reporting), or it was stolen. We will be able to ship a replacement as soon as you provide documentation from the post office admitting loss or mishandling of the parcel. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for any parcels that are stolen or mishandled by third parties.

Are there days other than weekends Cronus does not ship orders?

We follow the United States Federal Holiday Schedule. While we may still process orders and send customers their tracking number on some of these days, that tracking number will not be immediately active until the next business day when USPS is back in operation.

USPS will not be picking up shipments on the following days for 2020:
